Given the endless number of choices in the health supplement market today, consumers often get confused about which health supplement manufacturers they can trust and otherwise. While there are tons of data on supplements and healthy living, most consumers do not have the time, effort or the expertise to make much of this information. And this is exactly where we come in the picture.


Supplementchart was designed to help consumers distinguish between inferior quality supplements (that may cause hazardous health effects), and their genuine and potent counterparts. Our biochemists rate supplements based on a wealth of factors such as:

  • Certification of manufacturing facility
  • Pairing the right ingredients and ratios
  • Ingredient quantity
  • Ingredients quality/sources (if possible)
  • 3rd party testing
  • BPA-free packaging

We are a bunch of biochemists (volunteers) on a mission to expose the ugly truth about the supplement industry.

As biochemists, we’ve seen our family and friends purchase nutritional products based on marketing hype/someone else’s recommendation like physicians who don’t know anything about nutrition.

The idea came to us while a few of us were testing some health supplements and examining online rating websites that came across as nonsense. There was no scientific basis for their rating system. Additionally, many of them accepted endorsements or advertising which created a clear conflict of interest.

It is then that we decided to launch a simple website without accepting any endorsements, advertisements or having any financial interest in any supplement company. Although we could have a better chart design/template and so on for our website, this is the best we could manage as volunteers given our busy schedules and limited resources.

Our mantra is to look for supplement products that:

  • Are gluten-free, soy free, Non-GMO, and without harmful chemicals
  • Are well-rounded and can benefit your overall health
  • Offer nutrients that you otherwise miss out on in your daily diet
  • Boost your immunity and nip diseases in the bud before their onset

We also provide a list of blacklisted products containing ingredients that negatively affect the health of consumers. So, if you do not find a supplement on, then it is either not rated yet, or not even worth a try. We might not have the time or resources to design a fancy website or template, but we do provide you with hard facts that can help you in leading a healthy and happy life.

In the 1800s, more than one million members of the British navy died from Scurvy (Vitamin C deficiency).
Biochemist Mr. Shane Ellison M.S. reveals in his book, Over-The-Counter Natural Cures, that nutrients are the solution for a majority of the diseases in the world. There has been a nutrient logic code since the 1900s:
  • Vitamin C cures scurvy.
  • Vitamin D cures rickets.
  • Niacin cures pellagra.
  • Thiamin cures beriberi.

However, not a single medicine was used to treat any of these diseases.

Micronutrients undernutrition in America;

  • 80% deficient in Magnesium
  • 49% deficient in Vitamin B6
  • 65% of women deficient in Folic Acid
  • 80% deficient in Vitamin D
  • 93% deficient in Vitamin E
  • 61% deficient in Vitamin C plus K, Calcium, Potassium and Omega 3’s and the list goes on. “In addition, you’ll need a minimum of 15 vitamins and a minimum of 15 minerals that are co-factors for proteins. These proteins are needed for your metabolism to function. If you don’t get any one of these 30 substances you should die!” So these are just the minimum 30 essential micro-nutrients that we need to barely survive. You pay a heavy price if you are even deficient in just one of these nutrients. You pay a heavy price by aging you faster!”

Professor Bruce N Ames wrote in his research paper that there are at least five types of cancers that are related to the Folic Acid deficiency. (Folic Acid is synthetic, so avoid it.) He also found in culture lab research that Biotin deficiency leads to an overproduction of oxidants that, in turn, accelerate the process of aging.

Professor Ames continues by saying that he and Dr. McKellen checked Google for 30 different vitamin and mineral deficiencies using the key terms such as “mutation,” “cancer,” and “chromosome/DNA damage” and found:

  •  Calcium deficiency leads to chromosome breaks and colon cancer
  •  Folate deficiency leads to chromosome breaks in mice and humans along with colon cancer in humans
  •  Vitamin D deficiency leads to many types of cancer and is responsible for up to 80% of your immune system
  •  Magnesium deficiency leads to chromosome breaks in humans
  •  Zinc deficiency leads to Fong’s disease and esophageal cancer in humans
  • Potassium deficiency leads to cardiovascular diseases
  • Vitamin B12 deficiency leads to chromosome breaks
  • Selenium deficiency leads to DNA damage and cancer in humans
  •  Omega-3 fatty acid deficiency leads to cancer
  • Niacin deficiency leads to DNA damage • Choline deficiency leads to DNA damage in humans.

Dr. Bruce concluded that if you are deficient (just a little) in just one of these nutrients, it necessarily equates to being exposed to Chemo/Radiation 24×7!

But the science doesn’t lie, now we know for sure that many nutrient deficiencies cause DNA damage/chromosome breaks just as Chemotherapy, Radiation, and X-rays cause the same type of DNA damage (Double Strand break).
